About This Project

Project Description and Scope of Services Experience Summary

The Health Science Center sits on the Redfield campus.  This roughly 16,800 square foot multi-level new science center houses new classrooms, a state of the art nursing lab that includes four simulation rooms and two standard patient rooms, a conference room and additional faculty offices.

Scope of work

PAI provided special inspections of soils, reinforced concrete, structural steel and welding, high strength bolting, epoxy anchorage, and masonry. Site improvement inspection consisted of density tests and materials sampling during subgrade, baserock, asphalt, and exterior flatwork.  Approximately 600 hours for inspection on this project.

Benefits to the client

PAI provided special inspections to document and report the contractor’s works as it pertains to the approved plans, specifications and 2012 International Building Code.   We provided special inspection during earthwork, reinforced concrete, masonry, epoxy anchorage, structural steel, and welding and high strength bolting.  During site improvements we inspected and tested subgrade, baserock, HMA and exterior flatwork, including stairs, patios, site retaining walls, sidewalks, and approaches.
